Vaccintest på människor har börjat i Australien mot svininfluensa

Vaccinindustrin växer, men när börjar testerna på människor? I brittiska The Guardian kan man läsa att vaccintest på frivilliga nu har börjat i Australien. Australien är mitt i influensasäsongen då de ligger på södra halvklotet. Enligt artikeln är det en sjumånaders testperiod, men jag gissar att denna kommer att förkortas om det verkar gå bra. Det kommer att ta sex till åtta veckor för att bedöma om vaccinet överhuvudtaget är verksamt:

He called swine flu "a novel strain of influenza", and said the trial would determine the dose and schedule of the vaccination.
