If you are on Ubuntu:
1) Make sure you have an Nvidia video card
2) Install both cuda and opencl libraries
3) Use this conversion script to make a .deb from Resolve install danieltufvesson.com/makeresolvedeb
4) Install.
5) Use ffmpeg to convert files to MOV, Resolve supports that on Linux.
